After serving in Timor, he went off to Afghanistan, waving goodbye to his wife and three boys. He came back on leave, for a short time, and seemed a bit distant. His wife Paula didn’t worry too much. His assignment was tough, ugly, and he didn’t want to talk about it. She understood that. And then last year he returned from his deployment in Afghanistan, planning to take a month’s leave. But within days, Paula knew something was wrong. She questioned whether it was her marriage, whether it was her. She tried to talk to him, and to the army and to anyone who would listen. |

| POEM: JUDAS IS LIVING IN CANBERRA – GEORGE MANSFORD JULIA Gillard unveiled a cash grant for the Australian War Memorial just hours before the planned launch of a campaign backed by veterans. The Prime Minister said the memorial would get $8 million more a year. Last year, her Government rejected a request for an extra $5 million. Ms Gillard also promised $1.7 million to redevelop the memorial’s World War I galleries. The Coalition had promised $25 million. Thanks George, that worked! |

| AUSTRALIAN ARMY INFANTRY MUSEUM, SINGLETON NSW On Wednesday 19th January the sod was turned by Vice Chief of the Army , General Hurley, to start construction on a brand new purpose built Infantry Museum which will be situated near the main gate which will allow the public access without having to gain access to the base. The new building will be two-storey and cover an area of approximately 50metres by 20metres. The old museum is now shut till the new one opens on 1st September 2011. |

Unable to sleep, tortured by headaches and depression, Roy and his family move to a remote cattle ranch, where things only get worse. Afraid Roy will kill himself or his family, a local Sheriff and therapist attempt to bring him back from the war. The movie deals with PTSD and is to be released in 2011. |
