He graduated from the Royal Military College Duntroon in 1974 and served as a platoon commander in 1 RAR Townsville 1975-1976

I remember LT Parsons well in 1RAR he and I had a mutual interest in staff duties. While going through Duntroon he wrote a paper on Australia’s involvement in world War One in which he posed the question was that involvement in Australia’s best interest. Later in his career he served at Duntroon as an instructor. May he rest in peace.
